Founded in 1995, ASACA is a non profit, non-sectarian, cultural and educational organization. ASACA’s mission is to acquaint the American public with the rich Arabic culture and heritage through the promotion of lectures, educational seminars and cultural events. ASACA also seeks to instill Arab American youth with the Arabic language, culture, and heritage and enhance close ties among members through social activities.

Watch the "Arab Detroit" television special underwritten by ASACA. The 26 minute program premiered on Detroit Public Television, WTVS, Channel 56, on January 3, 2010 and looks at the history, religion, life and culture of the Arab American community in southeastern Michigan.
